I am finally taking the time to sit down and write again about our family and the outdoors. The last 6 months have flown by and a lot has changed in our lives. We had a fun and exciting hunting season this year with many memories made. I don’t measure the success in inches of antler or pounds of meat harvested. To me, those just serve as reminders of the time spent with each other.
The biggest change in our lives will be coming in just a few short days. Our oldest son, Austin, will be heading to the Air Force to start his life and career. Austin is a great big brother and son. There are many things he does for our family that make life easier on us as parents. Whether he’s running errands, being the school shuttle bus, or helping out with household tasks, we couldn’t do it without him. All of us will miss him dearly. Words can’t describe what he means to us.
